Toronto Police identify man shot and killed in vehicle near Queensway and Windermere | News

Police have identified a man who was shot and killed late last week in west Toronto as Jack Loor-Walters.

The 25-year-old GTA resident is the city’s 22nd murder victim of the year.

At 9.53pm on Thursday April 28, officers responded to a call for the sound of multiple gunshots in the Swansea Mews area near Queensway and Windermere Avenue.

Investigators say gunshots were heard in the area.

Police said they found a man who was shot inside a vehicle. Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived at the scene.

Paramedics transported the man to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A 27-year-old man, who was also in the vehicle as a passenger, was also shot dead. He suffered a “non-life threatening injury”, police said.

No description of the shooter or shooters was provided.
