Street racers who flood local roads and perform dangerous stunts continue to be a growing problem on the streets of Los Angeles.
Over the weekend, a street takeover in Florence early on Sunday morning prompted the call for police to disperse the crowds and break up the illegal spectacle.
On Saturday, two people died in a hit-and-run accident on Highway 91 while traveling in a group of suspected street racers.
The ongoing issues renew calls from residents and lawmakers for more to be done.
