Santa Fe School Board Considers Changing Its Medical Marijuana Policy

SANTA FE, NM (KRQE) — The Santa Fe School Board is addressing its medical marijuana policy in schools this week. They will hold a second reading of their policy proposal on Thursday.

It describes the rules for the use of medical marijuana by students on campus, in accordance with the law. Albuquerque Public Schools already has a similar book policy.

Santa Fe schools say they have fewer than five students to whom this applies, but are working to clarify the policy. Statewide, there are 332 medical marijuana patients 18 and under.
