New revelations are rocking Bachelor Nation. After the two-part final of the bachelorette, stars of season 19 Rachel Rechia and Gaby Windey open up about their dramatic endings – and applaud the critics.
“A lot of viewers think Gabby and I just wanted a ring and we just wanted to be engaged, but that’s not what we wanted,” the 26-year-old flight instructor said. Variety Wednesday, September 21. “We wanted commitment. We came into this show completely ready for this stage of our lives. … I was so open with men that’s the goal I wanted and I wanted someone to stand there with me at the end and be my life partner. It really had nothing to do with a ring. It has to do with someone who has agreed to go through life with you and that’s what a proposal really means in the end. What we wanted was commitment.
While both women have received proposals, it appears only Gabby has secured a commitment. The Dancing with the stars competitor is committed to Eric Schwer and the duo is still going strong. Rachel, meanwhile, separated from her fiancé Franco-Franco while the season aired after he kissed another woman.
During the finale on Tuesday, September 20, fans watched Rachel and Tino argue over whether they were on a break when he cheated. “There’s never been a time when we’ve been apart. There’s never been a time when an engagement has been called off. Have we had conversations saying, ‘We need to focus on dating, we do we really have to get to the heart of it all?” Yes,” Rachel said on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, which Gabby, Michael Young and Becca Kufrin everything said was “normal” when the show came out. “I can only try to side with him and assume that’s where the confusion came from – because we were struggling. I don’t think there is an excuse. … But I don’t want to sit here and have everyone say this to me, like, ‘Well, you said that.’ I never said I was returning a ring. I never said our engagement was called off.
Rachel said Tino was “upset” that their relationship quickly took a turn after filming wrapped in May.
“[But] instead of sitting there and doing the work – like I did – and taking this space for myself and asking for help, and focusing on that, he ran straight to someone who he was — apparently not seeing — but seeing before the show,” Rachel continued. “And then not only that, [but] hide it from me for weeks. It was around the time of the premiere and we’re talking men say it all that’s when I found out. The whole time he sat on this information, sat across from me and told me that I had to do all this work on myself for our relationship together, which I agree . … But are you sitting on this information that you are actively seeking comfort and intimacy with another person? »
Rachel and Tino’s live-action reunion also heated up and things took a turn when her finalist, Aven Jones, appeared on stage. She then left with Aven, and many fans thought there was no point in embarrassing Tino in this way.
“At the time, I was obviously very confused. It wasn’t Aven’s intention. He also didn’t feel like it was ever going to happen. ‘humiliation,’ she said. entertainment tonight. “I am on [Tino] felt awful. I obviously don’t want him to feel that way, no matter what happened in our relationship. I’m not sure when this all happened, but that wasn’t Aven’s intention, and I know it.
