A man has been arrested after Bury Police discovered a cannabis farm on a residential street this morning.

About 250 plants were discovered along with growing material, with the entire setup barely hidden behind a set of curtains in the front room of the property on Balmoral Avenue.

The entire crop has now been seized and one man, an Albanian national, has been arrested.

It is the latest in a series of major foreclosures in Greater Manchester.

350 plants were discovered at Radcliffe in early March. 1,500 plants were found at a Prestwich property earlier this year.
