A man was seriously injured in a shooting in Pickering, according to Durham Regional Police.
Officers were called to the Valley Farm Road and Finch Avenue area for a disturbance at a large rally just after 4 p.m.
Police said they heard a gunshot while responding to the incident. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located an injured person.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was transported to a Toronto hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police said they have no information on the suspects at this time.
