Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is interested in a move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in France.
French journalist Nabil Djellit, who works for L’Equipe and France Footballreports that the Premier League striker is a possible United signing, although the club are yet to decide.
He reports: “Erik Ten Hag wants to sign Hakim Ziyech at Manchester United. It is one of his priorities. But the Moroccan winger is not unanimous within the club.
Ziyech played at Ajax under Erik ten Hag, before Chelsea signed him in a £33.3m deal that rose to £36.6m [BBC Sport].

Hakim Ziyech an option for Manchester United
This possible agreement has already been launched this summer. Give Me Sport claimed in July that Ziyech was an option for United.
Now that Manchester United have pulled out of a chase for overpriced Ajax winger Antony, it makes sense to review the option. It was named to our list of alternatives to Antony last week.
Ziyech struggled to live up to his prize money at Chelsea, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 83 appearances.
Finding Erik ten Hag could be attractive for him. Ziyech is heading to the World Cup with Morocco and wants to get back to his best form.
Chelsea’s frenetic transfer activity pushed Ziyech further down the queue. The Mail reported he was free to leave last week for just £8million, with AC Milan interested.
However, the Milan ties have been dragging on without a resolution for weeks and Ziyech will consider alternative options.
French outlet Onze Mondial are also reporting the United links, although they suggest he could cost upwards of £20million.
Marco van Basten tipped Ziyech for a potential move to United earlier this summer, The Mail have reported. He said: “What comes to mind now is that I think Ziyech, who is already playing in England, could be a very good Manchester United footballer for Erik.”
As a short-term option, Ziyech makes United stronger. He can support Jadon Sancho on the right wing and allow Amad to go on loan.
It remains to be seen whether Ten Hag will make a deal, United will sanction him and Chelsea will agree to let him join a competitor.
Off-radar: Meanwhile, a player linked to United earlier this week by Sky Sports is set to join PSG instead.
Renato Sanches has been touted as a possible alternative to Frenkie de Jong. fabrice romano reports that PSG have reached an agreement with Lille and the player is expected to undergo a medical.
