Boris Johnson LIVE: ‘When, not if’ Senior Tory MP predicts date of censorship coup | Politics | News

Defense select committee chairman Tobias Ellwood told Sky News Tory MPs must force a change in leadership.

He said: ‘It is recognized that every MP realizes now that it is up to us to take ownership of this because, I am afraid, the lack of discipline, focus and leadership at number 10 during this lockdown period has led to a huge breach of trust with the British people.

“It causes long-term damage to the party brand and it is proving difficult to repair.

“Can it be fixed in time for the next general election?

“So it behooves all Tory MPs to take matters into their own hands, and I think, as I said, that’s where things will go, especially as we have more bad news to to follow.”
