Caribbean restaurant and bar, Turtle Bay, is giving MediaCity residents and workers a taste of things to come by hosting a big Caribbean BBQ and offering FREE food and drink to celebrate the launch of their new Salford restaurant. Quays, which is due to open on August 19.
Turtle Bay will bring the summer beach vibe to MediaCity Square on Friday, August 12, handing out samples of jerk chicken wings, its famous Reggae Rum Punch and its Red Stripe beer.
To get their hands on the free samples, Turtle Bay fans need only head to the plaza and follow the smells of the barbecue. The TB team will be giving away FREE island-inspired treats for two sessions, between 12-2pm and again between 4:30-6:30pm, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Famous for its tropical cocktails, late-night happy hour and extensive soul-food menu, Turtle Bay is delighted to bring its Caribbean vibe to Salford Quays. Additionally, a new range of cocktails will be launched exclusively at the Salford Quays branch in September before landing in other restaurants across the country.
Turtle Bay’s famous Bottomless Brunch will also be coming to Salford Quays in September. Held daily from 10:00 a.m. until the last sitting at 3:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. on Sundays), this is a two-hour Caribbean cocktail and brunch experience – a sunny catch-up event like no other , featuring unlimited tropical cocktails, mocktails, Red Stripe or prosecco all set to a soundtrack of laid-back reggae beats. Bottomless Brunch includes any fresh breakfast, brunch, burger or roti dish – from the Big Kingston Grill Down (the Caribbean twist on the bay on a full English) to the Vegan Yardbird, all for £31.50 per person.
Open for reservations and walk-ins, Turtle Bay welcomes fans from breakfast until the wee hours. The all-day Bay menu features a wide selection of Caribbean soul food and grazing options, from their island-inspired breakfast dishes to the Jerk Pit BBQ; comforting curries at Buddha Bowls inspired by healthy eating; as well as an excellent range of burgers, beach salads and sides.
Turtle Bay is also home to one of the biggest vegan collections on the main street with amazing plant-based treats galore throughout the menu. From breakfast to main dishes, desserts and snacks. And the many cocktails and mocktails are also vegan, including the Reggae Rum Punch.
