Travis Scott is back to making music after the Astroworld tragedy.
Travis collaborated with Future on “Hold That Threat”. In the music video you see Travis, Future and producer South side … Travis sang the chorus … “Hold this, hold this heater [aka gun].”
Travis and Future also share a joint during the song. And, there’s the striptease, courtesy of a woman who doesn’t wear much.
There is no reference to the the tragedy at the Houston festival in November, where 10 people died. Travis has kept a low profile for the most part since then, performing at a The Coachella after party recently and kicked off SoFi for a game, but other than that it’s kept its head down.
As we reported, Travis is for follow-up by a number of people who were at the festival, as well as the families of those who died. The lawsuits could take years to be settled or litigated, so it’s unclear how Travis will manage his career around this.
The song is loaded with references including one to his upcoming album, “Utopia”. He rapped “Six Months in Cabo,” referencing a rumor that he was traveling back and forth from a studio in Mexico.
