Sunny and warm Thursday in New York

Storm Watch team meteorologist Darryl Green said it will be a sunny and warm Thursday in the New York metro area.

Thursday will see mostly sunny and warm skies with temperatures in the low 70s.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with showers expected in the afternoon and temperatures in the 60s.

Rain and wind conditions are expected on Saturday with temperatures in the upper 50 degrees.

Mother’s Day Sunday will feature morning clouds before afternoon sun and highs in the 60s.

The start of the new work week on Monday will see mild temperatures in the mid-60s under sunny skies.


THURSDAY: Fairly sunny and warm. Highs near 73. Lows near 52.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy/filtered sun, showers in the afternoon. Highs near 63. Lows near 49.

SATURDAY: Heavy rain and windy. Highs near 57. Lows near 47.

SUNDAY: MOTHER’S DAY- The morning clouds give way to the afternoon sun, which is nice and cool. Highs near 62. Lows near 48.

MONDAY: Milder, sunny with fine, pleasant high clouds. Highs near 66. Lows near 50.

TUESDAY: Warm and sunny. Highs near 69. Lows near 52.
