Fitness and nutrition expert Stephanie Mansour shares three easy ways to detox for spring so you’re ready for summer.
Detoxify what you eat.
“Eliminating foods like gluten or even certain dairy products can relieve bloating,” Mansour says. “Adding probiotics can help, there are pills or liquid probiotics that can be healthy for the gut and can reduce inflammation.”
Increase leafy green vegetables. Spinach and kale, for example, are great to add as an everyday staple.
Strength training helps build muscle and burn fat.
“You can literally burn calories while you sleep. Try sweating to burn calories with hot yoga or a steam room, it helps detoxify your body,” Mansour says.
