New Yorkers will soon be able to quench their thirst for alcoholic seltzer. A massive festival all about hard seltzer is coming to New York this weekend and will take over the Lower East Side waterfront from early afternoon until dark.
The event, dubbed Seltzerland, will plant its roots on Pier 36 and the party will begin at 2 p.m. Festival-goers can sample over 100 varieties of hard seltzer, and tons of entertainment will ensure the party never stops. Among the many activities, guests will be able to play seltzer pong, lemonade ladder golf, and even corn hole, and a custom inflatable bubble booth will provide the perfect place to take pictures. There will even be a White Claw lifeguard station.
To ensure you have something other than soda water in your stomach, food stalls and trucks will be available, including Zazzy’s famous pizza and local Meatoss food truck for tasty bites.
Hard seltzer fans who wish to attend can purchase either a general admission ticket for $39 or a VIP ticket, which costs $59. General admission ticket holders will be able to choose between two attendance sessions, one from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the other from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. VIP guests, instead, will have their own dedicated session to attend, which is a bit longer and runs from 2-5 p.m.
In addition to all the regular activities and tastings, VIP guests will receive a full can of hard-tasting seltzer and a specialty cocktail, and they can take home a commemorative Seltzerland tasting mug.
