Design by Michael Graves presents the ‘Quick Fold Cane’, a height-adjustable cane with a quick and very compact folding mechanism. Both lightweight (1lb) and sturdy, the aluminum-lined design is available in four different colors (blue, green, black, and earthy brown). It comes with two separate mouthpieces that offer the choice between ‘stand-alone or ultra-thin profile”.

The practice continues: ‘When using the X-Tip, the Quick Fold cane can stand on its own (on smooth, flat surfaces), allowing you to free up your arms and hands when needed.

quick and easy folding mechanism

The ‘Quick Fold Cane’ folds into three different sections and stays compact thanks to the internal magnets that hold it together. To unfold it, users simply separate the sections and straighten the stick until the hinges retract into the shaft. To collapse it, both ends must be pulled outward until the hinges are exposed, prompting users to break the cane down into sections again.

Stylistically, Michael Graves Design (see more here) has equipped the product with a unique handle that can rest comfortably on users’ arms or cling firmly to any edge for a hands-free experience.

adjustable to the size of the user

As mentioned, the cane is height adjustable: ‘To set the perfect height for you, press and hold the yellow button to easily slide the lower segment in or out of the upper segment,’ comments the team. Cane height will vary depending on whether users are barefoot or wearing shoes. this height-adjustable cane folds up in no time
