Police have identified a man who was shot dead in the western Swansea neighborhood of Toronto on Thursday.
Police responded to a call on April 28 just before 10 p.m. after gunshots were heard near the Queensway and Windermere Avenue.
Officers found a man with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The man was identified in a police news release Saturday as Jack Loor-Walters, 25, of the Greater Toronto Area.
His death marks the 22nd homicide in Toronto in 2022.
Police say a 27-year-old man who was a passenger in the vehicle was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police are asking the public to contact police if they have any dash cam footage.
