Police are investigating a serious accident on the Sunshine Coast after a car was found in Mountain Creek.
Authorities say the car was located this morning, crashed into trees along Seriata Way near the northern Sunshine Highway on-ramp.
The road was closed to allow for investigations, creating traffic chaos for drivers on their morning commute.
It comes after a month-long police operation targeting driving offenses in the area, following the deaths of 10 people on the area’s roads.
