Around 125 firefighters and 25 firefighters are battling a blaze in Park Royal, London

As many as 125 firefighters and 25 fire engines are battling a fire at an industrial bakery in west London which broke out early this morning.

Firefighters rushed to an industrial bakery on Minerva Road in Royal Park shortly after 3am this morning, where most of the building is on fire.

People are told to avoid the area.

London Fire Brigade said: “Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters were called to a fire at a factory on Minerva Road in Park Royal.

“Most of a single-storey industrial bakery is on.

“The brigade was called at 3.23am. Fire crews from Park Royal, Willesden, Wembley, North Kensington, Ealing, Chiswick and surrounding fire stations are at the scene.

“The cause of the fire is not known at this time.”
