Priscilla Presley had company on Monday when she walked the Met Gala red carpet with Elvis star Austin Butler.
The 76-year-old ex-wife of Elvis Presley continued to show her support for the 30-year-old actor after he gave his performance as the late ex-husband in Baz Luhrmann’s biopic Elvis, a critic praise a few days earlier.
Priscilla stunned at the iconic Manhattan fashion event wearing an elegant black dress that made her look years younger than her age.
She still has it: Priscilla Presley, 76, stunned in a mostly black ensemble as she walked the Met Gala carpet in Manhattan on Monday with Austin Butler, 30, who plays ex-husband Elvis Presley in a new biopic
Priscilla’s black satin dress hugged her figure and featured a slim skirt that reached to the floor.
She was dressed head-to-toe in Prada, and her edgy dress was enlivened by intriguing shiny vertical stripes across her stomach.
Her long sleeves were decorated with thick shimmering gold bands, which perfectly matched her pointed gold heels.
The actress wore her elegantly styled burgundy tresses straight and up at the bottom as the locks rested over her shoulders.
Priscilla complemented her dress with a thick matching black headband, and she wore a black triangular Prada clutch.
Supporting her was Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star Austin Butler, who plays her late ex-husband Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s highly anticipated biopic Elvis.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit, also known as the Met Gala, is considered by many to be the “Super Bowl of celebrity red carpets.”
Fashion’s biggest night is traditionally held on the first Monday in May to raise money for the Costume Institute in New York, with last year’s event being moved to September due to the pandemic.
This year’s dress code is “golden glamour” to match the theme “In America: A Fashion Anthology,” a continuation of last year’s “In America: A Fashion Lexicon.”
Although Priscilla will forever represent the beginning of the rock and roll era through her connection to Elvis Presley, her look was hard to pin down at a particular time due to her minimalistic design.

Tickets for the glitzy event can cost up to $35,000 each, while prices for a table range from $200,000 to $300,000, with last year’s party bringing in $16.4 million for the Met’s Costume Institute.
Regina King, power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda host this time, taking over from Timothy Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman and Naomi Osaka.
This will be Miranda’s first time serving as co-chair (and guest) of the Met Gala, but it was originally planned to co-host the 2020 edition before the pandemic forced its cancellation.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour again oversees the benefit as chairwoman, a position she has held since 1995. Her fellow honorary co-chairmen are designer Tom Ford and Instagram executive Adam Mosseri.
As usual, the sartorial theme comes from the exhibition launched by the gala: “In America: An Anthology of Fashion”, which is the second of star curator Andrew Bolton’s two-part exhibition exploring the roots of American style. .
This exhibition will feature lesser-known designers, as well as top directors, including Sofia Coppola, Martin Scorsese, host King and last year’s Oscar-winning actress Chloe Zhao.
