A Toronto man has been arrested after a threatening incident inside a Scarborough mosque last month.

Toronto police said at 11 p.m. Friday, April 15, officers opened an investigation in the Kennedy Rd.-Eglinton Ave area. after a man entered a mosque during night prayers and allegedly made violent threats towards individuals.

According to the police, the suspect fled the mosque at the end of the service.

On Sunday April 17, Intaqab Alaam Khan, 50, was arrested and charged with uttering threats.
