Launch of ENLACE: Data Portal on NCDs, Mental Health and External Causes – PAHO/WHO

The Division of Non-Communicable Diseases and Mental Health (NMH) invites you to participate in the launch event of: “ENLACE, the PAHO Data Portal on Non-Communicable Diseases, Mental Health and External Causes”” On Tuesday, January 18, 2022 by 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (EST).

The Department of NMH recognizes the value and relevance of data in accelerating efforts to meet regional and national commitments, as well as the organization’s mandates and action plans, and adopts innovative approaches to improve access to reliable data and information , and support their use of decision-making and guidance of technical cooperation activities. In this context, the NMH department developed the PAHO data portal on non-communicable diseases, mental health and external causes (ENLACE).

This virtual event introduces ENLACE and showcases some of the relevant topics, including their interactive visualizations and tools. This event will serve as an opportunity to share new content and resources in support of regional and national efforts to reduce the impact of NCDs, mental illness, and violence and injury on the population of America.

The session will be available in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.
