Jane McDonald maintains her figure by eating a type of bread after a 4 stone weight loss

After losing four stones, Jane McDonald only eats one type of bread, which is how the slender star controls her weight.

The 59-year-old gave her health a boost in 2015 and hasn’t looked back since.

Two years into her health journey, Jane signed up for ITV’s Sugar Free Farm in 2017 – where she ended up losing even more weight.

While on the show, she discovered another type of bread that would help with weight loss – and it doesn’t contain yeast.

On the TV show, a lot of celebrities had to live on a sugar-free diet, and while Jane was doing just that, she met Angelique Panagos.

Angelique was the farm’s resident nutritionist, and while she and Jane were working together, she gave her an amazing bread recipe that changed the way Jane ate.

Jane eats a type of bread to keep her figure under control

The bread hack she discovered on the show is one of Jane’s favorite things she picked up.

Jane said: “The only bread I eat is the one I have a recipe from Angelica.

“It’s yeast-free and it’s made with lots of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, wholemeal flour, oats, and yogurt of all things.

“It’s literally 20 minutes and it’s done – ready to put in the oven.

“I don’t eat a lot of it, but when I really crave a little starch, I just take some out of the freezer and put it in the toaster and that’s it.”

When the former Loose Women panelist performed on the show, she lost 9 pounds in two weeks, which was due to following Angelique’s diet and eating foods like the unique bread.

Speaking to the Express, Jane said: “I lost a stone and a half going on the Sugar Free Farm TV show.

“I used to eat so much junk. I didn’t realize how much junk I was eating. I always loved a pie and was very carb-hungry because I was always hungry.

“I ate way too much and all the wrong things. I didn’t realize that if you eat the wrong things, it doesn’t feed your body, so you’ll want more.

“I love my life, and my schedule takes a lot of energy, but I was starting to get quite tired and I blamed it on age.”
