Merson added that he believes a lack of service has not helped Kane, who has scored 12 goals in all competitions so far this season.

Antonio Conte confirmed defender Eric Dier will not be available for Sunday’s game against North London rivals Arsenal.

The 27-year-old has missed the last three games due to illness, but the Italian confirmed he will miss another game this time due to injury.

During his pre-match press conference, the head coach said: “About Eric Dier, he has a small problem. A small muscle problem. He is not suitable for the game against Arsenal. It is a pity, I repeat.”
