Parkersburg Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Parkersburg has appointed a new CEO.
Nate Ford will oversee all day-to-day operations, patient care, and quality at this 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital on 3 Western Hills Drive. Ford’s appointment was effective November 15.

Ford joined Encompass Health in June 2012 as a Nurse Practitioner and later Superintendent and Chief of Nursing at Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix City, Ala.
In 2018, Ford joined the leadership team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he served as an associate administrator at the 50-bed hospital.
Most recently he served as CEO of Incompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Shelby County in Pelham, Ala. In this role, he rebuilt the leadership team, enhanced hospital culture and employee engagement, and improved key operational performance indicators, while managing challenges presented by the global COVID pandemic.
Ford holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Chattahoochee Valley Community College and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Illinois.
Parkersburg Health Rehabilitation Hospital includes comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from conditions such as strokes and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic conditions, and heart and lung disease.
