Driver in caught in Salford guilty of three driving offenses

A MAN has been fined and received points on his license for driving without a license and not wearing a seatbelt.

Today (April 4) Tekosh Mahmoodi, 28, of Amberton Road, Leeds, was found guilty of three offenses after having the car he was driving seized by Greater Manchester Police Traffic back in September 2021.

A spokesperson for GMP Salford said he was found guilty of, “driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with license, and driving a vehicle not wearing a seatbelt.”

He received fines of £816, plus costs, and six penalty points on his licence.

He claimed to have borrowed it from a friend, but a GMP Traffic spokesperson said at the time that “they hadn’t insured it though, didn’t wear their belt, apply L-plates nor drive appropriately supervised in line with their provisional license .”
