Buy local goes digital | Wyndham

The Werribee Business and Tourism Association (WBTA) has launched a digital campaign to encourage residents to support local businesses.

The WBTA was established in 2015 to provide events and services to businesses and those seeking to conduct business in Wyndham.

The association’s membership represents business owners and their employees, students and educational facilities, plus corporate, medium, small and micro enterprises.

A state government grant funded the WBTA “buy local” campaign, which took about six months to develop.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the various services available in Werribee, encourage locals to visit the WBTA categories landing page to learn more about these services, and to identify individual Werribee businesses and promote their strengths.

The campaign showcases businesses in the categories Your City Center, Your Business, Your Property, Your Health & Wellbeing, Your Local Attractions & Community and Your Sports & Recreation.

Videos to promote each category will be used to reach residents through Facebook ads.

There will also be social media posts for businesses within each of the categories and there will be photos showcasing local entrepreneurs and sharing quotes about the best Werribee has to offer.
