Bronx Fire: Residents Displaced After 4 Alarm Fire in Fordham Heights Section

FORDHAM HEIGHTS, The Bronx (WABC) — Dozens of residents found themselves out in the cold early Saturday after a fire destroyed a building in the Bronx.

Just after 2 a.m., flames broke out at a restaurant on the first floor of the Grand Concourse building

Video showed the flames reaching the roof of the four-storey building.

Firefighters had the fire under control just after 5 a.m

A firefighter was injured, but the extent of his injuries is not yet clear.

The Red Cross was on site to assist the displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
