Bristol traffic live: Almost two hour queues as people try to get into the North Somerset spectacle

It takes people nearly two hours to clear queues on a road in North Somerset today.

Reports suggest it takes 1hr 45mins for festival goers to get from the A38 to the Wraxall show ground.

Earlier a vehicle fire caused delays on Chew Road, which was closed in both directions from Kentshare Lane to the car dealership.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “Long delays and queues due to event on B3128 Clevedon Road around Wraxall Hill. A370 congestion via Flax Bourton and Backwell as traffic joins queues at Delays are also building up on the A38 around Barrow Gurney as traffic tries to grind off to get to the event.”
