Supported by Arts Network Ottawa, ARTicipate Grants aim to stimulate artistic activity in Shenkman Arts Center supporting creative projects of all disciplines through grants awarded to local artists and arts organizations to create and/or present their work at the Centre. Since 2007, Arts Network Ottawa has administered over $810,000 in funding to over 140 projects under this program.
This year, ARTicipate has been adapted to better meet the needs of artists by announcing 3 application streams:
- LaLande + Doyle Exhibition Space
- Events and shows
- Creation and development
Application streams are now open for the ARTicipate Creation and Development and Events and Performance grant streams. Applicants looking to explore and develop work may be interested in the Creation and Development stream, while those interested in organizing festivals, concerts and events may apply to the Events and Performances. Projects can take place between July 2022 and June 2023.
